L'inscription découverte en 1923 sur la falaise Jushi au Shanxi était rendue illisible par les intempéries. Mais grâce aux fouilles digitalisées de septembre et octobre 2015, elle put être déchiffrée caractère par caractère et, en mai 2016, on pouvait affirmer que c'était la stèle de commémoration des mérites militaires du général Hu Fen 胡奋 (?-288) des Jin de l'Ouest (265-316), le jour de la fête du Double 9 quand il a gravi cette colline
